Ondo State PDP Chairmanship Aspirant Faces Charges

Ondo PDP chairmanship aspirant faces criminal charges

Trial of a Chairmanship aspirant of the PDP in Ondo state and former. Deputy National Youth Leader, Mr. Dennis Alonge scheduled for Tuesday the 26th of May may be stalled due to the public holiday as announced by the Federal Government in celebration of the Eid El Filtril.

Mr. Alonge who is standing trial along side three others was arraigned before an Akure High Court for attempted murder. It would be recalled that the accused had earlier been remanded by the court in Olokuta prison, Akure on the same matter.

The accused while pleading not guilty to the charges brought against them, were alleged to have willfully attacked a fellow member of their party over issues within their ward which resulted in the death of a young child. Mr. Alonge and the other accused individuals were consequently charged to court and remanded in prison.

Sitting over the case on the 4th of May 2020, the presiding judge His Lordship, Honorable Justice adjourned the matter to Tuesday the 26th of May to hear the defense of the accused.

Mr Alonge was relieved of his chieftaincy title by the Traditional leadership council of his community over a long standing issue of disrespect to the king, who is also standing as a witness against the former youth leader.

The PDP in the state seems to have been shielding the accused in a bid to provide soft landing for the embattled Chairmanship aspirant. When contacted, the party said that it would not be commenting on the matter since its already before the courts.

The Director of Media and Publicity, Zaddok Akintoye when asked to comment said that since the matter was already in court, it would be improper for the party to make a statement on the matter but also opined that anyone accused of a crime must be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

However, it has become quite worrisome that a party would willfully seek to defend someone who has been brought before the courts for a criminal offence, considering that the said defendant does not enjoy support of party members who have accused him of being part of the Sheriff camp that ensured that the PDP lost the last election.

Attempts to speak with the defendant proved abortive as his number was unavailable when called.

Sad! You won’t believe Glo did this to a customer

My Sad Experience with Glo—Tadese Faforiji. See Glo network response to a customer….

Faforiji Tadese Obaloluwa – Glo mobile Network response

I know this and it’s part if me. I never share my experience to blackmail our beautiful network. I always wonder why people like to choose some network over the other. Here I am with my results.

It was unfortunate that my phone was stolen in February of this year. Not only that I lost my phone which has my Glo Sim inside, but also my WAEC and NECO certificates including all my printouts which were put inside the bag. With two month prayer and lots of pleading on social media, the friendly thief returned some of my materials to the university relaxation center in my school (AAUA).

I usually went to the place every morning to take my belongings which he/she dropped one after the other. Unfortunately, my phone was not returned. Do you know what happened next?
What was so much painful is my lovely Glo Sim which I have been using for over six years. Even then, when I bought the Sim, it has already been registered . And this doesn’t occur again now.

I sought for my Sim retrieval but all was futile. I remembered when my MTN sim disappeared in 2018.

It was so easy when I got to the MTN office in Ilesha. I kept looking for Glo office in Ilesha, but believe me, they have none in the whole Ilesha! Shit!
I traveled to Osogbo twice to retrieve this Sim and the agent told me it has a process and I’ve failed to recharge in January, a month preceding February when the phone was stolen.

"Sad!

Glo sent several messages and I showed them at the so called Glo office in Osogbo. Believe me, they did dick till now. Does this ha you too?
I’m untenable to their ‘unfriendly’ treatment. I’ve used this sim for many things including my media broadcast, Bank contact, WhatsApp, Family meetings’ meeting contact and others.

Now, Glo would provide the same number and got it sold to another potential customer!
Behold, Glo is our service. The love I have for Glo is immeasurable because it’s a black network and I love everything belonging to my people. I’m a black man to the core! But I’ve stopped to put too much trust in them. I am advising you, don’t put too much trust in this green network.

It may affect your activities if you’ve gone too far in setting the Glo Sim as your everything.

Mind this number, 08110830189, it goes forever and never will I be happy with Glo again in my life. And I would never advise even goats to patronise them. I’m not ready to spoil anybody’s name or go to court for such irrational service of the unseen corner of the globe, but I have my experience, which is the best master. Thanks.

Tadese Faforiji, a presenter at Uniq 103.1fm and Freedom TV channel 34 UHF, Ilesha, State of Osun.

CORONAVIRUS: RETHINKING OSUNIAN MECHANISM

Published

on

Corona Virus

It is obvious that this pandemic disease(Corona virus) has put paid to some successful running of businesses, schools, among others.

The federal government of Nigeria is pushing out her efforts to contain this deadly disease(Corona virus). Noticeable are the mechanisms used by different states. At peak, Lagos state is leading to have Corona Virus victims in Nigeria and not too long, Osun also joined the brutish race of Coronavirus victims’ record.

None of this polity has ever cried out to the public the causes of this malignant disease. We know mosquitoes cause malaria and Ebola is caused by perhaps bat or monkey as claimed.

Then, what is the cause of Corona virus? Fine, we’ve got to know no one is ready to voice out and now we attach biological weapon’s reaction to this unknown virus. Know what? En vérité the world is diminishing.

Oh Nigeria, it’s a funny country. Why are we not having sanitisers in the whole country for the citizens. If this disease can be prevented by personal hygiene, then closing religious centres will solve zero issue but aggravate the situation.

Nigeria is part of different international organisations–WHO, UNO among others.

These organisations can easily provide for Nigeria the materials needed for her citizens to fight prior to the advent of Corona virus..
We all know that the step taken by the government is perfectly right. She ordered all her citizens to stay in isolation (at home), but devouring their saliva.

Since we have good administrators, government should try make provisions for its citizens before she would think of finally shoving her citizens in because of disease that is under the rank of poverty fighting the nation in mind and silently uhm.

Thanks to some aired philanthropists or perhaps sturdy philanthropists who donated funds for Nigeria to fight this disease.

Please, are we still having the money at pocket or they are kept for the next generation to come so that the current generation can be killed by hunger and poverty? We thank the government who have made provisions for each citizen to have an amount that is not actually known till now. God bless Nigeria. We’re proud to be black.

Government should please make provisions for the needed materials like face masks, sanitisers, gloves among others before she will finally lock her citizens indoors. We should be appreciated for obeying the rules that is not entrenched in the constitution of Nigeria.

A country of over 200m population and she has millions of people with billions of Naira, still death of hunger will never stop work. Oh! You earthly hell! We pray we never have you again.
Of course, some states are trying. Trying? Yes, trying ironically.

The mechanism of isolation—konile-gbele policy– bought of by the Osun Sate government will do dick in solving the problem.

I heard a news that people are only allowed to travel on Monday then stay indoors starting from Tuesday. Is Monday not a day? What about if one gets infected on Monday and spread it among household on Tuesday? Ah! Oh you sub-earthly hell!. We pray God set you free. The overall population of Osun state either added or not is not over six million. Six million peoples living in Osun.

What comes to mind is six million naira. We pray the state of Osun make provisions for her citizens before this hunger will soon push all out again and deadly and roughly deadly will the disease be by then.

We all know the disease is neither wealthy nor poor, we all see all ‘black’ government taking it very serious. Obviously we need to tour to Italy for holiday. Funnily shit! We see our creator in action as always be.

The then definition of power can now be attached to fear. Summarily, the Corona definition of political power is ‘ the struggle for oneself to stay safe in pandemic situations’.

There should be a rethink in Osunian mechanism of preventing Corona virus. Actually, we’re untenable to the Aso Rock’s decisions, government should open religious centers and provide aid materials. Saying at home eating saliva is not in parity with those, those, that stay under the blessed AC and enjoying their isolation. Perfectly, with exception of the Corona fear, they are comfortable.

We are not prepared to welcome the black shirts and trousers anyway, but government should consider her citizens. We should maintain the social contract theory. We submitted our power to the government so that state can remain our servant not out master. God bless Nigeria.
